Extinction Rebellion

by | 30th September 2019 | News

I’ve heard of a ‘new’ psychological term, ‘eco-anxiety’. Well, I’ve been feeling near ‘eco-despair’ for a long time, but I discovered Extinction Rebellion via a Guardian article last November. I joined the Exeter group – found some wonderful people – and it’s lifted me from near-despair into determined action.

So, I’ll be spending my 80th birthday going to London for the next big Rebellion which begins on 7th October.

I’m prepared to be arrested since I must do and speak all I can to try and stem the destruction of our Earth and the amazing variety of living beings on it.
